In the fall of 1996 a few ladies who are members at Mt. Olive Ministries got together to share their love for quilting.  We wanted to meet others and share different ideas so we ran an ad in the newspaper announcing when and where our club would meet.  We have grown from the original three and how have up to twenty quilters per week!

These are ladies who come from several different denominations, just to share our love for quilts.  We all have the common thread of Christ's love in the community as well as outside the county.

We have found that no matter which area of Tennessee we come from we are all ordinary people threaded together by our Lord Jesus Christ.  A lot of us have the same needs:  illness in our families, lost loved ones or maybe even a financial need.  We pray together and try to help each other make quilts with the scraps life gives us.  Together, through Gods love for us, we have made many beautiful quilts.
