Three’s Company Roses Bouquet - We are very excited to introduce a new teacher who has recently moved to Atlanta, Jane Bayarena. She has designed a pattern for a stunning wall hanging (25” x 29”) that features three roses in a vase. Learn to make your roses bud from a muslin foundation where the petals blossom to fully-grown as they are appliquéd onto the background. This is a very unique technique you won’t want to miss. Come to Jane’s class and help us welcome her. Advanced Beginner Level class. Projects are on display. $50, 2 sessions or 1 day workshop. $10 for pattern payable to Jane. Afternoon sessions 1p-4p on 4/16 & 4/30; Evening sessions 6p-9p on 4/16 & 4/30, or single workshop 4/25 5p-10p OR 5/10 10a-4p.
One Block Wonder (New) – An intriguing kaleidoscope technique creating a water color effect quilt. In Session I choose fabric, plan your One Block Wonder Quilt and learn the method. (Machines not required). Session II will be spent arranging blocks for best color effect. 2 Sessions plus book & supplies $40, Session I - 2-4P Tuesday 4/25 or Thurs. 6-9P 4/17. Session II to be decided by group.
Ribbon Bargello (New Class) Calling all Bargello Lovers!!! This stunning bargello looks like suspended ribbons. Two Sessions $40 plus pattern and supplies. Wednesdays 10A or 6P, 4/23 & 5/7. Session I - 4/23. Choosing fabric & planning strata. Session II – 5/7. Cutting the Strata and Bargello Construction.
Fan Fun Quilt – Advanced Beginner & Up Skill Level - Learn how to make the fan block used in our Shop Hop theme quilt. See how easily the block goes together and how quickly the quilt assembles. Tuesday, 4/22 1-4 or 6-9. $30 plus supplies. Choose your own fabric or use our kit.
“You Go Girl” Carry On Travel Bag (17” x 19”) Learn binding, piping, fusing, very basic quilting, custom pockets for inside & outside of bag and much more. 3 Sessions $50 plus pattern & supplies. Fridays 4/18, 4/25, & 5/2 1 – 3 P or Saturdays – 4/19, 4/26 & 5/3 10 – 12.
Miranda Bag – This tote or hand bag is fabulous by itself but makes a great companion bag for the “You Go Girl.” It is structured and will stand up when set down. Loaded with 10 inside pockets and can be done with short or long fabric handles or fashion handles. Four different fabrics are used and it lends itself to large scale prints. 2 Sessions $50 plus pattern and supplies. Thursdays 4/17 & 4/24 10 – 12 or 6-8. Saturdays 5/3 1-3 & 5/10, 10 – 12.
Scrap Therapy, a two-part program provides participants with a proven system to organize and use fabric scraps. The Cutting Workshop is Part One of the two part series. Bring a sampling of your messy, tangled scraps, a rotary cutter & ruler at 10:30 A on Sat. 4/4. $12 fee includes one stackable Scrap Therapy Modular Storage Bin.
Scrap Therapy Part II participants use their newly cut and organized fabric scrap to make the “ Star Light, Star Bright” lap quilt. Learn new methods for making half square triangles and straight forward mitered border treatment. AND/Or make a sharp table runner called Table Stripes. Sat. 4/4 11:30A. $10 (incl. pattern).

Calendar Girls $5 Quilt will meet 11A Friday 4/18 or Sat. 4/19. To join pay $5 & buy Debbie Kratovil’s “Quilter’s Block a Day,” to keep you on track all year long. Bring your completed block the following month & get the next block free. Also be able to take advantage of 15% discount on monthly kits for quilts using each month’s block & get a free pattern for $2 (to cover printing). All levels welcome. Not too late to join.
Learn to Quilt or just improve your techniques. Our Learn to Quilt program is designed for beginners and intermediate quilters who want to strengthen their piecing and appliqué skills. Purchase of patterns and monthly kit $20 (includes session fee) & your choice of background and border fabrics is required. The finished quilt is 59x71 & is very impressive for a beginning project. Begins Sat.11A, 3/22.
Fat Quarter Rising Stars – our new Thangle Block of the Month with two options:
Rising Stars – complete 2 pieced Star blocks each month or
Rising Stars with Hourglass – make 2 Star blocks & 2 Hourglass blocks
$1.50 per month for Rising Star Fat Quarter and pattern. Additional purchase of background fabric (2 2/3 yards) for stars & Thangles required. Purchase of hourglass fabric (1yd.) alternate hourglass background (1 ¾ yd.) is optional depending on desired quilt size. Pick up kits anytime during the month.
Designing Women meets first Fri. at 10AM & Sat. 2PM. Studio fee based on supplies required for each person’s project. Adv. Intermed. Level. Creative juices are flowing from the Designing Women. It’s not too late to choose fabrics for a strata to create your art quilt. Step outside the box & comfort zone and step into a new world. March class postponed until April. Friday 10A, 4/4 or Sat. 4/5 2P (cutting your strata to sew).
Spring Joy celebrates the joys of springtime with bunnies, flowers, bees and all manner of garden things. Adv. Beg. LevelThis 12 month BOM program features a variety of appliqué & pieced blocks. The cost is $9.50/month & incl. pattern and fabrics for each block. Background (2 1/2 yards) purchased separately. Meets 2nd Mon. 10 or 6P, 4/10.
The Quilter’s Dozen Plus is a year in a snap. Make one main frame wall hanging & create these darling monthly seasonal centers that snap on & off. (Choose which project you want to do). Kit cost will vary $25-35/month. 1P Wed. 4/23 or Saturday 4/26.
